What is the Beckham Law?
The Beckham Law allows expatriates who relocate to Spain to pay a flat 24% tax rate on their employment income, instead of the progressive rates applied to Spanish residents. It’s valid for up to 6 years (including the year of arrival).
Requirements to Qualify
- Not having been a Spanish tax resident in the last 10 years.
- Relocation to Spain due to a work contract or director role.
- Apply within 6 months of registering with Spanish Social Security.
- Submit Form 149 + supporting documentation.
