What is your situation?
Driving licences issued in any Member State of the European Union and the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) are valid for the purposes of driving in Spain as long as they are current and have not been revoked for any reason, provided that the minimum driving age in said state is the same as that required to obtain the equivalent Spanish driving licence.
Driving licences held by residents in Spain that have been issued in Andorra, Korea, Japan, Switzerland, and Monaco can be exchanged for an equivalent Spanish licence directly when a number of administrative requirements have been met.
Driving licences held by residents in Spain that have been issued in countries with which there is an agreement in place can be exchanged for an equivalent Spanish licence directly when a number of administrative requirements have been met. In some cases, additional aptitude tests may be required before a licence can be exchanged.
